We are now accepting applications for presentations at UTICamp-2019 13.02.2019 Do you have an important topic, unique know-how or a case study you wish to share with the audience or your colleagues? If so, please contact us! The program committee will select the most interesting and relevant topics and discuss each detail of the presentation with you. We are looking for speakers in three tracks: Art of Translation, Business of Translations, and Technology and Localization. Please send the completed applications by 1 April 2019. The organizers will notify you about the status of your proposal by 15 April 2019. The first track is for freelance and in-house translators. Here we will discuss translation and interpretation, as well as terminology and editing issues. Generally, some of the most popular topics in this track include advertising your services, searching for customers and professional growth. The second track is for translation companies, representatives of which will discuss pressing issues around company management, automation and sales, and review case studies. The Technology track will focus on the technology side of our industry: the latest developments in translation automation, order management systems and technical equipment. It is no secret that machine translation and the development of artificial intelligence has become one of the hottest topics in recent years. And we too will try to understand these trends. But our interest is not limited to these topics. We are open to new suggestions and will gladly look at any bold and innovative ideas. In addition to presentations, the conference programme includes training sessions and masterclasses. If you are ready to share your expertise and knowledge with colleagues, you can present your short training course at UTICamp-2019.
